Research Hub started as three high schoolers trading notes on how to actually get a research project off the ground. It's now a youth-led organization running workshops, competitions, and collaborative projects for students who want the same head start.
How a shared frustration became a curriculum.
In 2023, our founders were juggling AP courses and their first independent research projects — and hitting the same wall every time: nobody had taught them how to actually do research. Not the five-paragraph-essay version. The real thing — picking a question narrow enough to answer, designing a method that could survive scrutiny, and writing it up so someone else could check the work.
So they wrote down what they’d figured out the hard way, taught it to five friends on a Saturday, and kept going. That Saturday session is now a standing workshop track. The friend group is now a network of student mentors across a dozen schools.
